ABOUT THE COMPETITION

《爱上华文街舞比赛》的宗旨是希望通过音乐和舞蹈让学生体会到华文歌曲的魅力,激发他们学习华文华语的兴趣。除此之外,我们也希望带动更多人感受华文之美,激励更多人学习华文、爱上华文。

今年,我们将邀请所有小学、中学、高中和初级学院的学生组团参加比赛!除了展现精湛的舞蹈技巧,参赛团队还必须在编舞中诠释对比赛主题 ——“梦想”的理解。

Using music and dance as a medium, the Chinese Street Dance Competition hopes to help students experience the beauty of the Chinese language and spur their interest in learning the language. Through this event, we hope to have more people join us in learning Chinese and falling in love with the language.

This year, we will be calling out to all primary, secondary, MI and JC students to take part in the Competition. Besides showcasing their dance skills, students are also required to showcase their comprehension of the competition theme,  "Aspiration", in their dance choreography as well.

All qualified participants of Chinese Street Dance Competition 2023 will receive a certificate of participation.

 

比赛规则
RULES & REGULATIONS

1. 比赛规则:

1.1 比赛组别:

组别

参赛资格

小学

所有队员须就读于新加坡政府学校,并选修华文作为母语科,或者选修华文(特别课程)。无须修读华文的初级学院/高中学生则须在中学时修读过高级华文。

中学/高中/初级学院

1.2 参赛团队的队员至少要有 3 位,最多 12 位。所有参赛者必须是新加坡公民或永久居民。

1.3 参赛者必须来自同一所学校。每名参赛者只能参加一个团队。

1.4 参赛队伍报名前需征得校长的同意。

1.5 参赛团队必须在舞蹈作品里表达本届主题“梦想”。参赛团队必须以本届比赛主题曲作为主要编舞歌曲。参赛团队可将主题曲进行混音编辑,重新排列,但指定主题曲必须占最终改编曲的30%以上。除此之外,如果团队想要使用主题曲以外的歌,团队也可以从我们提供的“本地创作”歌单或者是历届“新空下”合辑挑选想要使用的歌曲。如果选择歌单以外的曲目,参赛团队需确保拥有其使用权。参赛团队只能选用指定歌曲中的华语部分。主办方保留淘汰所有视频不达到比赛要求的参赛队伍。

1.6 在主题曲之外,改编曲中所使用的其他歌曲必须都是华语歌曲。

1.7 团队可以采用任何舞蹈类型进行表演。

1.8 所有参赛者必须在 2023 年 3 月 31日或之前通过官方网站提交报名表。报名免费。

3. 预赛要求:

3.1 所有团队必须在 2023 年 3 月 31 日 2359hrs 之前上网提交报名表格

3.2 所有团队必须在 2023 年 3 月 31 日 2359hrs 之前将参赛视频电邮给主办方。视频内必须包括以下两部分内容:

  • [介绍]一段不少于 30 秒的团员自我介绍。视频必须包括所有团员的个别自我介绍、参赛原因和编舞灵感。
  • [舞蹈]一段80 至 90 秒的一镜到底舞蹈视频。
  • 团队可以选择将这两部分内容拼接成一个视频,也可以选择电邮两个不同的视频。
  • 截止日期:3月312359hrs

3.3 所有合格的视频将会在 4月10日由主办方上载到官方网站。公众可以从4月10日至4月12日,通过网站为各组别的团队进行投票。投票结果将占团队预赛分数的20%。

3.4 所有入围决赛的团队会在 2023 年 4 月 14 日接获电邮通知。

4. 决赛要求:

4.1 决赛将于 2023 年 5 月 20 日进行。 舞台走位将于决赛当天进行。每个团队的比赛时间为 100 至 120 秒 。

4.2 参赛成员的变更或替换:团队成员不可随意替换:如果确有不得已的特殊情况需要替换团队成员,必须立即通知主办方,获批准后方可替换。

4.3 参赛团队须自行负担服装、发型和化妆等演出开销。参赛者应确保穿着得体。如果有任何疑问,可以提前发送服装照片给主办方审核批准。

4.4 进入决赛的团队必须在决赛一周前将比赛歌曲以mp3的形式发送给主办方。决赛当天,团队需要将含有比赛歌曲的U盘交给主办方。

4.5 表演时允许使用道具,但必须事先告知主办方并征得批准。表演中不允许使用液体、烟火、尖锐物体等作为道具。 

4.6 比赛不得含有粗俗、淫秽或冒犯性的内容、语言或动作。

4.7 参赛团队在大决赛当天抽签决定出场次序。

4.8 决赛当天,缺席或迟到的团队将被取消参赛资格。 

5. 评分标准

比赛由主办方指定的评审团评分。评审团的决定是最终决定,所有参赛团队必须无条件接受评审团的裁决。 评审标准和分数分配如下:

*预赛:评审团的评分占总分的80%,公众的网上投票占20%。

其他规则

  1. 每位参赛者在报名参赛的同时,即代表其已经确认自己身体健康状况能够满足比赛要求,不会因其参赛而影响自己或他人的身体健康与生命安全。
  2. 比赛期间,参赛者须遵守主办单位定的合理指示和要求。如有疑问,应及时询问主办方。
  3. 主办单位拥有在活动期间拍摄的照片或影片的所有权,并可将其用于主办单位的营销和出版材料。使用这些照片和影片不必征求参赛者的同意。 
  4. 主办方可能会收集和使用参赛者个人信息、根据比赛行政安排方面的需要与主办当局官员、职员、指定服务供应者、附属机构和合作伙伴分享这些信息。
  5. 如有需要,主办方有权更改比赛时间和地点。 
  6. 主办方、合作伙伴和赞助商无须对参赛者因参加比赛或在准备比赛的过程中所遭受的任何损失或伤害承担任何责任,除非参赛者在比赛的任何阶段造成的生命或财产损失、损害或伤害是因主办方、合作伙伴或赞助商的疏忽而造成的。
  7. 主办方无须承担参赛者的任何费用。 
  8. 主办方有权在未提前通知的情况下修改比赛规则和条款。
  9. 参赛者在报名参赛的同时,均视为同意并允许主办方今后发送相关或其它活动的讯息。
  10. 上述规则均受新加坡法律约束。

1. COMPETITION RULES

1.1 Eligibility:

Category

Status of Participants

Primary School Students

Open to all primary, secondary, MI and JCs students studying Chinese as Mother Tongue Language or Chinese (Special Programme). For JCs, students who are exempted from taking Chinese must have studied Higher Chinese in secondary school.

Secondary/MI/JC Students

1.2 Team Composition: The Team may consist of 3 (minimum) to 12 (maximum) members. Team members must be Singaporean/PR.

1.3 All team members must be from the same school. Each individual may only participate in one team.

1.4 All teams have to seek approval from their Principals before participating in the Competition.

1.5 Teams MUST incorporate the competition theme “Aspiration” in their dance item. Teams need to incorporate the theme song into their choreography. The theme song should take up at least 30% of the dance mix. Other than the theme song, if teams wish to include other songs in the choreography, teams can select songs from our specially curated “local music” playlist or songs from “Xin Kong Xia”. If teams wish to use songs outside of our song lists, they will have to ensure that they have the rights to use the songs for the Competition. All song sections used in the final dance mix must be in Mandarin. Song sections containing English cannot be used. The Organisers retain the right to disqualify teams with videos that do not meet the stated criteria.

1.6 There is no restriction on the dance style.

1.7 All participants must complete and submit the registration forms to the Organisers by 31 March 2023, 2359hrs. Registration is free.

1.8 Dance videos are to be emailed to contactus@cstreetdance.sg by 31 March 2023, 2359hrs.

3. Registration

3.1 All teams must complete the registration form via the official website (www.cstreetdance.sg) by 31 March 2023, 2359hrs.

3.2 Dance videos are to be emailed to contactus@cstreetdance.sg by 31 March 2023, 2359hrs.

3.3 Registered teams are required to send in the following two videos

  • Introduction (minimally 30s) – A oral presentation in Chinese including: Team members’ self-introduction and team leader to share reason(s) for joining the competition and concept behind their choreography.
    • Dance (80 – 90s) – One (1) one-take video showcasing their choreography.
    • Teams can choose to combine the two videos into one video or submit them as two separate videos.
  • Deadline: 31 Mar 2023, 2359hrs.

3.3 All videos will be uploaded by the Organisers onto the official website on 10 April 2023. The public can vote for their top three teams between 10–12 April 2023. Public votes will take up 20% of the overall score during the auditions.

3.4 All finalists will be notified via email by 14 April 2023.

4. Finals

4.1 Finals will be held on 20th May 2023 at Festive Plaza, Our Tampines Hub. Stage blocking will be done on the day of the finals. All finalists have to put up a 100s – 120s choreography.

4.2 Entry Changes or Substitutions – Team members are non-replaceable. For circumstances beyond the control of the team member(s), please inform the Organisers immediately and the substitution will be subject to approval.

4.3 All teams are to provide their own costumes, hairstyling and makeup. All finalists shall ensure that they are dressed appropriately for the Competition. If in doubt, you may send the Organisers a photo of the attire for clarification.

4.4 Performance Music RequirementsAll Finalists must send over their audio file for the Finals in mp3 audio format to the Organiser via email at least one week prior to the Finals. All Finalists should also pass a backup of the audio track in a thumbdrive to the Organisers during the Finals.

4.5 Participants shall be responsible for their use of any musical works as part of their video submission. The Organisers shall not be responsible for any claims of infringement of intellectual property rights by third parties.

4.6 Usage of props is allowed but requires approval from the Organisers. Usage of liquid, fire, smoke, sharp objects are not allowed. 

4.7 No vulgarity, obscenity, or aggression is allowed in this competition.

4.8 Finalists will draw lots on the competition day itself to determine the order of their performance.

4.9 Participants who do not turn up or are late for the competition(s) will be automatically disqualified.

5. Judging Criteria

Teams will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Organisers. The decision of the panel is final and no correspondences or enquiries will be entertained.

*For the Preliminaries, judges’ scores will account for 80% of the total score and the remaining 20% will be from public votes.

General Terms & Conditions

  1. By participating in the Competition, each Participant represents and warrants that he/she is physically and medically fit to participate and has no physical or medical condition that would make his/her participation unsafe or dangerous to him/her or to others.
  2. The Participants agree to comply with all instructions and requests made by the Organisers at all times during the Competition. If in doubt, Participants should seek clarification from the Organisers.
  3. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs or films taken during the event for use exclusively in the organiser’s marketing and publication materials, without obtaining further consent from all participants.
  4. The Organisers may collect, use and/or disclose each Participant’s personal information to their officers, employees, appointed service providers, affiliated organisations and event partners, only for the administration of the Competition and all matters arising thereunder.
  5. The Organisers reserves the right to change the time and venue should the need arise without prior notice.
  6. The Organisers, partners and sponsors shall be under no liability whatsoever to the participants, in respect of any loss, damage or injury suffered by the participant arising from or pursuant to his/her participation in the competition or for any loss, damage or injury to life or property sustained by the participant at any stage of the competition, unless such loss, damage or injury is caused by the organiser’s, partners’ or sponsor’s gross and wilful negligence.
  7. The Organisers will not be held responsible for any expenditure incurred by any participants of the competition.
  8. The Organisers reserve the right to amend the rules and regulations without prior notice.
  9. By signing up for this competition, you agree to receive promotional emails from the Organisers in the future.
  10. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
